Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak of some furniture I am working on. I got this whole set for $125 - dining table, 6 chairs, hutch.

Ok, so right now it isn't the most attractive furniture you've ever seen, but it will be soon.

Stay tuned...

Julie, I can't wait to see what you do with this furniture! I think you got a great deal and can make it fabulous.

The weather was perfect today for Atlanta, wasn't it???? I love it!

Hey Girl,

I've missed you lately. We need to get together soon. As you have probably noticed, I haven't been blogging much and things have just been so crazy around here with school getting started and some other things.

Anyway, I haven't been reading blogs much either and this morning Vic emailed me and told me to get over here and see what you were up too. BTW, I hope to be better about all of this very soon.

Great to see your furniture and look forward to the makeover. Wow, you did get a great deal. It looks like good sturdy furniture too and it is going to look awesome.

I also love the cards you made. Love the stamping too. I finally got some black ink for mine. Love things that are almost instant satisfaction---that is one reason scrapbooking has always been a favorite of mine. Something out of nothing in hours instead of days.

I also saw that you posted about envy. Blogs have never bothered me too much, they are like looking at magazines to me. Great ideas to take and see how I can do them at a fraction of the cost. I have also realized that most of the girls out there are not perfect, they just don't always show the imperfect stuff. I have enjoyed that occasionally when someone does show that, but wouldn't read their blogs if that is what they posted about. I already have enough imperfection around me---don't need to see others imperfection too often. ; ) That would *really* depress me. I'm tend to be more envious (or at least a deep longing) about relationship type stuff (Mother/father/in-law/family/friend,etc.) than I do about things. This is something I've thought about often. There is a balance, it is just about finding it, I think. It isn't always easy, is it? Maybe if one of us figures it out we can let the other know how it's done. : )

Love you and look forward to seeing what you do with the transformation. Sorry about the book. : )
